The Australian airline Kantas said today, on Wednesday, that the company was subjected to one of the major electronic infiltration operations in the country many years ago after reaching the phone number, date of birth or address of more than a million of its customers.

The airline added that four million other customers were stolen, and their e -mail headlines during the hacking process reported by the Reuters news agency.

After the disclosure of an electronic attack last week, Kantas said today that the penetration database contained personal information up to 5.7 million customers, after the removal of inalienable records of six million customers who influenced the attack.

Kantas added in his statement that there is no evidence of the leakage of any personal data for customers, and that the company is closely monitoring the situation.

“Since the accident, we have placed a number of additional electronic security measures to increase the protection of our customers, and we continue to view what happened,” said Vanessa Hudson, head of the Cantas Executive Group.

This is the largest electronic attack in Australia since the giant telecommunications company OPPOS and Medipank medical insurance was attacked in 2022.
