During the first three days of the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29), held in Azerbaijan, reliable transport links were provided from 18 transport exchange centers and They transported a total of 123,000 passengers.
Oku.Az informs that the Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency (AYNA) under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport has published information in this regard.
It was reported that passengers were safely and comfortably transferred from Heydar Aliyev International Airport to the H1 express route “May 28” and to the “Ahmadli” metro stations via the H2 express route. Please note that these shipments are made free of charge.
It should be noted that AYNA works in an enhanced mode to ensure the comfortable and safe transportation of guests participating in COP29. In total, more than 1,600 employees participate in passenger transportation operations.
It should be noted that on the first day of COP29, 35,000 passengers were transported on shuttles, and on the second day, around 45,000 passengers were transported on shuttles. In the coming days, measures will continue due to the high level of passenger transportation.
