Ayuso recalls that the Government agreed on the housing law with “the Bildu zulos experts”

The president of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Diaz Ayusocriticized the fact that the central government accepted the Housing law with “the hideout experts who are the members of Bildu ETA”. He did this during the control session at the Government of the Plenary of the Assembly of Madrid, in response to a question on access to housing posed by the leader of Más Madrid, Manuela Bergerot.

“You’re destroying the housing market and you’re destroying jobs. But of course I am going to ask a party, parties (with reference to Más Madrid and PSOE) who are able to agree on the law on housing for all Spaniards with the basement experts who are those of Bildu ETA Members», he launched in an intervention focused on criticism of left-wing housing policies, in particular the rent caps applied in Catalonia.

The president assured that the majority of the population understands that if we eliminate the supply by attacking it, there will be less housing and even if we try to limit prices, they will multiply and there will be fewer opportunities.

Ayuso criticized Más Madrid for following the path of thought that the majority conceives in a communist way and that what must be done is “to intervene in housing and business” to “pull everyone down.”

“Continue on this path, because I have already told you that the Community of Madrid will not vote for you, not even the seed of Podemos nor the podemita socialism which is becoming at the moment in this Assembly, which has ideas that even a 14 year old child cannot think of,” he said dryly.

Ayuso also recalled that17% of the supply flowed into Catalonia due to the application of the rent cap and showed that in Madrid, among the 3.8 million empty homes, Madrid is one of those with the least.

Criminal Records Act

In response to this affair, the Madrid Assembly experienced a moment of tension this Thursday when the Minister of the Presidency, Justice and Local Administration, Miguel Angel Garcíaaccused the PSOE and the president of the government, Pedro Sanchezto “always take the side of the executioners” of ETA and to “reduce sentences and grant freedom to ETA prisoners in exchange for power”.

These statements angered the socialist caucuses and Más Madrid, who forced García Martín to interrupt his speech while the vice-president of the Assembly, Ana Millán, asked for silence and respect.

The Minister of the Presidency, Justice and Local Administration assured that the President of the Government has “a golden opportunity” to immediately withdraw the law on the exchange of criminal records in the EU which benefits ETA prisoners, which is “a shame for this country and a scandal for the victims of terrorism”.

On the PSOE side, he was reminded that the PP had voted in favor of this law in the Congress of Deputies. That is why the only way for it not to be dealt with is for the government of Pedro Sánchez to withdraw it.
