The president of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Diaz Ayusowill ultimately not go to the Moncloa Palace this Friday to meet the President of the Government, Pedro Sanchez. The Madrid leader refused to attend this meeting due to Sánchez’s concessions to his separatist partners, such as the Catalan quota that the PSOE agreed with the ERC in exchange for Salvador Illa to be the new president of the Generalitat of Catalonia. The meeting was scheduled weeks ago for this Friday, October 25.
Ayuso, through a statement issued by the regional government, explains the reasons why he refuses to meet Sánchez this Friday in Moncloa. The first of these reasons is the unique financing that the socialists agreed with the separatists and which represents “the collapse of the common treasure of all Spaniards”. “This morning it was announced that the president was refusing this visit for various reasons. Because it takes place within the framework of a series of meetings following the negotiation of the dissolution of the Common Treasury of all Spaniards with the independence partners of the Government”, specifies the press release.
The leader of the PP affirms that this agreement between the Sánchez government and the separatists “This will be deadly for the rule of law.the unity of Spain and solidarity between regions. “Therefore, this decision cannot be considered valid based on accomplished facts that have never been consulted either with the regional presidents or with the Spanish people in any electoral program. You cannot normalize what is not normal. Since the last general elections, a series of destructive decisions have been taken, the negative effects of which will take a long time to reverse”, defends the executive of the Community of Madrid.
