Azcón meets the PSOE and Vox before the bilateral with Sánchez to “defend the interests of Aragon”

This Monday began the meetings that Jorge Azcón will hold with all the political groups in view of the next bilateral meeting with the President of the Spanish Government, Pedro Sancheznext October 11. During these meetings, the question of single financing of Cataloniasince the negotiations to reach a common point are carried out by the Cortes of Aragon. In the afternoon, Jorge Azcón met at Pignatelli with PSOE and with Voxand on Tuesday they will hold a meeting with the rest of the groups (PAR, Teruel Existen, IU and Podemos).

In light of the statements of Sea cowboyafter these first two meetings, it could be affirmed that the harmony between the PSOE and the PP is greater than what might appear at first glance, since, as the spokesperson and vice-president of the Government of Aragon and advisor to the Presidency, Economy affirmed, as well as Justice, “we agree on practically all the issues that they asked to bring to the meeting”.

In this sense, we appreciate the efforts of the Executive to try to iron out the difficulties and reach a common historical agreement between all the formations, knowing that Javier Lambán is, together Emiliano’s pagethe only one who did not support the candidacy of Pedro Sánchez, and therefore, the federation they represent is the one that most vehemently expressed its rejection of the Catalan quota.

The meeting with the PSOE

Vaquero highlighted the concern and shared concern of the PSOE for Health, in particular the lack of doctors; the necessary investment of infrastructureas well as the energy infrastructure make the price competitive.

In this regard, disagreement emerged between the position of the PSOE in Aragon and that of Moncloa, regarding the Decree-law approved by Lambán to lower the price of energy. In this regard, Vaquero recognized that the decree itself “was positive” and “we shared its spirit.” “What we are defending is that Aragon’s energy is used in Aragon, both by the Aragonese and by businesses,” he stressed. He thus recalled the commitment of the Government of Aragon to promote regulations that “encourage this”.

In this sense, the working group to address this issue requested by the PSOE, Vaquero recalled that working group The annulled decree-law envisaged it and, for this reason, the current executive had created it with an “interministerial character”. “We are willing to open it to all political parties, because what we want is for there to be consensus and agreement on energy issues,” he said.

Depopulation is another of the issues that Azcón will raise during the meeting with Sánchez, as an endemic problem in the community, especially in Teruel, and, therefore, as Vaquero pointed out, “the help of the 20% on the operation”, instead of “1% applied”, being “a measure approved by the EU”. In addition to expanding attention to areas of Zaragoza accused of very low population density, for which it would be important to apply a Compensation Fund, such as the FITE, which requires “an update”, since the last date from 2006.

In addition, the PSOE also had an impact on the automotive and pork sectors, given that “these are sectors that have allowed Aragon to have significant economic activity linked to exports”, Vaquero pointed out. In this sense, he recalled the importance for the community that “the installation of the Stellantis gigafactory», emphasizing that it depends on the Spanish government, in the resolution LOSS III.

Vox, immigration and autonomy

The spokesperson highlighted the meeting held with Voice the trust that the people of Abascal have shown in Jorge Azcón, although he pointed out that the differences between the two parties have also become evident, as for example in matters of immigration.

“The position of the Government of Aragon has always been to respect the law and maintain the principle of solidaritywithout prejudice to the fact that we can argue with the Spanish government the need for funding to accommodate these people who are looking for an opportunity,” he expressed.

“Logically, we do not agree on the position regarding the state of the autonomy. What for Vox may be a situation to reverse, for the Government of Aragon we believe that this State has been established in our Constitution and has brought prosperity and well-being to all Aragonese”, he added.

Regarding Vox’s “message” that he left in Azcón to convey to Sánchez to “resign”, Vaquero stressed that whatever the political positions, we must now “maintain institutionality in the face of the bilateral”.

Regarding the transfer to Sánchez of the request for resignation from the spokesperson for the Spanish governmentPilar Alegria From Vox, the spokesperson reiterated Azcón’s position on the Teruel issue, “this aid cannot be compared to that of the Catalan quota”. “It is a very serious error, and especially on the part of an Aragonese minister,” he stressed. In this sense, if Vox asks for his resignation, those of the PP consider that “he must rectify and apologize”.
