An ethno-jazz concert took place at the K. Kuanishbayev National Musical Theatre in Astana as part of the Days of Azerbaijani Culture in Kazakhstan.
Oku.Az reports that at the ethno-jazz concert the group “Zaman” performed the Kazakh folk songs “Biri var idi, bir no idi” by Vasif Huseyn, “Zaman”, “Spring”, “Improviza” by Vagif Mustafazade, “Interstellar” and “Yapuray” by Hans Zimmer. performed.
The group’s soloists Saleh Mammadov on bass, Eyvaz Hashimov on drums, Fagan Rahmanoglu on wind instruments and piano, composer and artistic director of the group Vasif Huseyn caused thunderous applause from the Kazakh audience with their magnificent performance on stage. Even after the allotted time for the concert, the guests asked the musicians to perform a new number to a standing ovation.
