Within the framework of COP29, the measures implemented for the development of the “green economy” were discussed with the specialized institution of Azerbaijan and financial intelligence authorities – “Egmont Group”.
Oku.Az As far as the Ministry of Economy is concerned, it is reported that these conversations took place within the framework of a meeting between the Minister of Economy, Mikail Jabbarov, and the executive secretary of the “Egmont Group”, Jerome Beaumont.
During the discussions, views were also exchanged on the benefits of fiscal mechanisms for sustainable development and issues of cooperation in potential areas.
The meeting provided information on the strategic objectives and the financial monitoring system and principles of the “Egmont Group”. Attention was drawn to the measures implemented for the formation and development of financial control in accordance with international standards in our country and the importance of deepening cooperation with the “Egmont Group” in this direction was addressed.
