It was reported that the requests of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan regarding the extradition of citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ilkhom Khurramovich Boyturayev, born in 1979, and Farkhodjon Akhrorjonovich Abdullayev, born in 1986, were accepted by the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
On August 29, 2024, I.Kh Boyturayev, accused of committing fraudulent acts in Uzbekistan and included in the international wanted list, and FAAbdullayev on September 1, 2024, were detained while passing through border control at the international airport Heydar Aliyev. and preventive measures were taken against them.
According to the Convention of October 7, 2002 on legal assistance and legal relations in civil, family and criminal cases, the decision was made to extradite the accused, who were handed over to the competent authority of Uzbekistan, accompanied by a special convoy of the Service Penitentiary of the Ministry of Justice.
