In the near future, the export of Azerbaijani gas will be implemented to Syria through the territory of Türkiye. This was stated by President Ilham Aliyev at a meeting in Baku with the leader of Syria, Ahmed Al -Sharra.

The project related to the export of Azerbaijani gas to Syria will be implemented through Türkiye “in the near future”, and this will contribute to ensuring energy security “in Syria, according to Azerbaijani agencies.
