Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov met with Secretary General of the Council of Europe (CoE) Alain Berse within the framework of the high-level week of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly.

The parties reportedly discussed prospects for cooperation based on mutual interests. Jeyhun Bayramov drew attention to Azerbaijan’s position on many issues within the framework of JSC’s activities.
Furthermore, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe expressed its concern about the bias against Azerbaijan, which seriously damages the image and reputation of the Council of Europe as a whole.
