The Azerbaijan national Greco-Roman wrestling team, which took first place at the world championship held in Albania’s capital Tirana, has returned home.
Oku.Az reports that the members of the national team were received at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport by representatives of the Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation (AGF), members of the media, fans and families of the athletes.
It should be noted that Eldeniz Azizli (55 kilograms), Nihat Mammadli (63 kilograms) and Ulvu Ganizadeh (72 kilograms) finished the tournament with gold medals.
