The IV Regional Family Business Congress will take place on next November 14 in the Siglo XXI building, in Badajoz, as has been the custom since its creation, after the great success of reception and participation of the three previous editions.
A working day during which they will meet renowned businessmen at regional and national level such as Alfonso Jiménez, president of Cascajares, Nuria Morales, CEO and founder of Komvida Kombucha, Enrique Linares, founding partner of Pluspartners or José Polo and Toño Pérez, founders of the Atrio restaurant. In addition, the lawyer Alberto Ruiz Gallardón and the businessman, surfer and speaker Álvaro Vizcaíno, on whose story the Netflix feature film “Solo” is based, will participate in this IV Regional Family Business Congress.
The importance of having a strategy, knowing how to fight against adversity, and start-ups versus family businesses will be some of the issues. topics which will focus the various round tables and discussions on November 14.
From the AEEF, as its president Juan Carmona assures, “we continue to work to contribute to the development, growth and continuity of family businesses in the region”. And, in this sense, Carmona emphasizes “that it is essential to promote this type of forums in which to reflect and analyze the challenges faced by this type of organizations”.
With the support of ITAE and the sponsorship of Ibercaja, Uninde, Automoción del Oeste and Delta Cafés, the Association of Family Businesses of Extremadura will carry out this IV Regional Congress of Family Businesses thinking about the future of this type of ‘organization.
Currently, the AEEF has 122 business families for a total of 500 companies, whose cumulative turnover is 5.6 billion euros, which represents approximately 30% of the regional private GDP.
