“Since November 8 and 9 are non-working days in connection with Victory Day and National Flag Day in our country, the work regime in the Baku metro will be changed.”
Oku.Az reports that this was stated by Hidayat Mammadov, Vice President of JSC “Baku Metropolitan”, at the briefing held today.
He said that although November 10 is a Sunday, train timings will be provided as on holidays.
“During the mentioned 3 days, train movement will be 2.5 minutes from 07:00 to 21:00 in the “Hazi Aslanov” – “May 28” zone of the “Red Line”. Starting from “28 May” station in the direction of “Icherisheher” and “Darnagul”, the interval of trains will be twice as long.
Since it is possible to change the direction of passenger flow at the metro station due to the organization of festive events and mass cultural programs, the management and employees of CJSC “Baku Metropoliteni” will work according to the work schedule. The operation of the stations’ infrastructure, as well as technical and engineering facilities, will be kept under control. Spare trains will be kept ready to be released onto the lines if necessary.
During these three days the movement of trains towards the “Bakmil” station will be adapted to the Saturday schedule,” he said.
