Barrachina thanks the CICU for returning to the province “to give the people of Castellón the attention they deserve”

The President of the Provincial Council of Castellón, Marta Barrachinathanked the return of the Emergency Information and Coordination Center (CICU) to the province “to give the people of Castellón the attention they deserve.”

This Wednesday, the president of the provincial institution attended the debate on the general policy statement that took place at the Palau de las Cortes Valencianas and during which the president of the Generalitat announced the return from CICU to the province of Castellón during the next month of October.

Boost for the new General Hospital

“Offering quality healthcare is one of the main objectives of the Government of the Provincial Council of Castellón as well as the Government of the Generalitat Valenciana”, as indicated by the Provincial Council, which highlighted, in this sense, that in addition to the recovery of the CICU for the province of Castellón, both administrations are working in a coordinated manner to strengthen health in the territory, such as by promoting New General Hospital of Castellón.

In addition to the return of the CICU, the president of the Consell made other announcements that will bring new investments to the province. Marta Barrachina thanked the president Mazon “for having trusted the province of Castellón and recognising it as a land full of opportunities.”

In this regard, the President of the Provincial Council highlighted the investment plan aimed at ensuring the quality of wastewater, as well as improving the provision of the necessary infrastructure and the efficient use of water. Marta Barrachina also welcomed the employment plan intended for municipalities with fewer than 2,000 inhabitants with the aim of continuing to combat depopulation, in addition to opening a comprehensive care center for victims of sexual violence in Castellón, direct aid to victims of the Bejís accident and improving the Castellón Airport or defending the bus al carrer.

All this is added to the set of announcements made by the president of the Generalitat Valenciana “to continue growing this province in opportunities, development and leadership”, concluded Marta Barrachina.
