Basketball player Shaquille O’Neal addresses victims of the October 7 massacre

One of the greatest basketball players of all time, Shaquille O’Neal, sent a warm message to Camp Timberline in Canada, where the families of the victims and survivors of the October 7 attacks are staying: “I understand that you have come from far away. I hope you are comfortable here.”

This was reported by Israel Hayom.

Last weekend, Shaq, as his fans call him, recorded a video message for the Timberline Camp in Toronto. This camp now houses young people who survived the October 7 massacre and the families of those killed on the tragic Black Saturday. The organization of the camp for them was supported by the Canadian charity One Family, which helps Israeli victims of terrorism.

“I wanted to say hello and tell you that I love you all. All the wonderful kids. I know you came from far away, I hope you are having a good time. We love you all so much. We will talk soon,” O’Neill promised.

He also included several other Hebrew words, such as “Shana Tova,” “Baruch Hashem,” “LeShana Tova,” and “Shabbat Shalom.”

Cursor previously wrote that former NBA player Shaquille O’Neal sent his best wishes to all Jews celebrating Sukkot. From 2008 to 2009, O’Neal played for the Phoenix Suns alongside American-Israeli basketball player Amar’e Stoudemire.

In addition, Cursor has already reported that popular singer Kanye West apologized to the Jewish community for spreading anti-Semitic rhetoric. He then deleted all his previous posts and only an apology to the Jewish community remained on his account.
