The head of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin, ordered a report on the investigation into the circumstances of the murder in Chechnya, the press service of the Investigative Committee reported.
“It is reported on social networks that in one of the villages in the Kurchaloevsky district a local resident killed a girl. The investigative bodies of the Russian Investigative Committee for the Chechen Republic accused the man of committing a crime under Art. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation and a preventive measure in the form of detention was chosen.” – says the message.
The chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed the acting head of the investigative department of the Chechen Republic to report on the progress of the investigation of the criminal case and the established circumstances.
No other details of the murder have been reported. Perhaps we are talking about the confession of a resident of Chechnya about the murder of his former daughter-in-law and the burning of her body.
On September 29, a 46-year-old resident of the village of Bachi-Yurt, Kurchaloevsky District, said he strangled his 22-year-old former daughter-in-law while the girl was sleeping. After confirming that she was dead, the man allegedly went to the backyard of a private house and prepared a place to dispose of the body. The man told police he wrapped the body in a blanket and burned it, and a day later threw the ashes into the river between the villages of Mayrtup and Bachi-Yurt. The agents were verifying this information.
