“A new academic year begins today. Considering that the traffic intensity on the roads will increase in this regard, the police, including the police department, are carrying out the necessary organizational and operational work and the staff is working in an enhanced mode of work.”
Oku.Az reports that this was mentioned in the appeal of the General Directorate of the State Traffic Police to traffic participants in connection with the beginning of the new academic year.
It was stated that these preventive measures can only yield effective results if the movement’s participants adequately address the problem.
It was observed that congestion and traffic jams on the streets and avenues where educational institutions are located are due to the serious violation of the rules of stopping, stopping and parking by people arriving at these educational institutions in private cars:
“The General State Traffic Police once again congratulates the entire educational community, and also calls on drivers who go to schools in private vehicles, especially parents who take their children to and from school in a private car, not to create artificial obstacles. For the rest of the road users, especially taking into account the traffic congestion in the capital, we ask them to use public transport as much as possible, give preference to walking short distances, contribute to the formation of a traffic culture among the younger generations and establish a climate of personal example in this matter.”
