Relations between Belarus and Algeria have reached a new level. This is stated in the congratulations of the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, to the leader of Algeria, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, and their compatriots on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Day of the Revolution of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria.
“This day in the history of your country symbolizes the resilience, courage and unwavering will of the people to build an independent State, it reminds us of the sacrifices and difficulties that had to be overcome to gain sovereignty. “Belarusians honor the memory of the heroes who contributed inestimably to the formation of an independent Algeria.” – says the congratulations.
Lukashenko noted with satisfaction that relations between Belarus and Algeria have reached a new level and cooperation between the countries continues to strengthen.
“We are ready to help you in the implementation of your initiatives to create a grain and fertilizer center in Algeria and achieve food self-sufficiency, as well as in other industries,” — stressed the Belarusian leader.
The President of Belarus also wished Abdelmadjid Tebboune and all Algerian citizens stability and greater prosperity.
“May Revolution Day always be a source of pride and inspiration for future generations of Algerians.” – said Lukashenko.
Let us remember that Belarus is subject to strict Western sanctions. In this sense, Minsk strengthens cooperation with countries in Asia, Africa and Latin America.
