Until the end of 2024, the volume of food exports will approach $9 billion. This was announced today, October 10, by Belarusian Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko.
According to him, Belarusian agricultural products are known in more than 100 countries around the world, are competitive on the world market and are of high quality.
“The volume of food exports by the end of 2024 will approach $9 billion.” – noted the head of the Belarusian government.
Golovchenko also assured that agricultural production was, is and will be one of the priorities of state policy.
“According to the results of the current season, about 10 million tons of cereals and legumes will be produced, including cereal corn and oilseed cruciferous crops,” – said.
In addition, the Belarusian Prime Minister recalled that by the end of this year it is planned to put into operation 60 modern dairy complexes, which were built with state support and the program will continue next year.
Let us remember that in Belarus special attention is paid to agriculture. in April Alexander Lukashenko set a goal for product exports in 2024. In his words, “this year we must produce between 6 and 7% more products and aim to export 9 billion dollars.”
