Belarusian army increases anti-drone capabilities

The Ministry of Defense of Belarus received R-934UM2 automatic jamming stations to combat unmanned aerial vehicles. This was reported by the press service of the State Committee for Military Industry of the Republic.

It should be noted that the high-tech equipment was developed and produced by the Belarusian design bureau “Radar” and is capable of “detecting, positioning and jamming ground and air radio communication lines.”

“Due to the power of the signals emitted and the height of the antennas, it is more effective in the fight against unmanned aerial vehicles.” – reported the State Committee for Military Industry.

According to the department, the delivery of the latest types of equipment for combating drones has been ahead of schedule and in the near future the Belarusian army will receive the next batch.

Recall that Belarus has been carrying out a major modernization of its army in recent years. This includes the development of anti-drone capabilities. Minsk considers it necessary to re-equip the Armed Forces taking into account the experience of the special military operation in Ukraine.
