The Belgian security forces allegedly arrested a suspect on Friday evening near the Israeli embassy in Brussels, according to the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs in X.
He said that the suspect had a Molotov bomb, but did not give additional details.
The post added that “all employees of the Embassy of the Israeli Embassy are safe.”
The Belgian police have not yet confirmed the arrest, and they did not give details about the intentions of the suspect.
In July, the police in the capital of Denmark, Copenhagen, announced that she was considering a suspicious parcel sent to the Israeli embassy.
In February, the suspect was also arrested in Berlin, who was believed to plan an attack with the “political stimuli” on the Israeli embassy.
German prosecutors charged the terrorism against the suspect in August, adding that he intended to join the SO group called the Islamic state (IK) in Pakistan.
It is not known whether the suspect in Belgium planned a similar attack.
