One person was killed and seven injured as a result of attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Belgorod region. The relatives of the deceased will not receive state assistance, Governor Viacheslav Gladkov clarified, and here is why.
The tragedy occurred in the village of Stary Khutor, Valuysky district. According to Gladkov, a local resident entered this settlement with a car and was blown up by a mine.
“The most difficult event occurred in Khutor Stary. One civilian died. I got into a car and hit a mine. Sincere words of condolences to family and friends. But unfortunately, we will not provide government assistance to the families of the victims. Because? A long time ago, two years ago, we agreed that whoever does not listen to the demands of the authorities to prohibit entry into populated areas where it is dangerous will not receive help from the government in case of injury or death. It’s not about money, it’s about your lives, dear friends.” — Viacheslav Gladkov spoke on his Telegram channel.

Also, in the city of Sosensky, Kozelsky district, Kaluga region, as a result of an attack with unmanned aerial vehicles, a fire broke out on the territory of a garage cooperative.
In total, according to the Russian Defense Ministry, air defense systems destroyed and intercepted 23 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles over Russian regions overnight.
