“The armed Palestinian movement lost about 80% of its control over the strip, and that it almost left something from its military structure,” is the great officer of the British press agency BBC.

The officer was wounded in the first week of the war, which began after the attack of Hamas on Israel on October 7, 2023 and has since resigned for health reasons.
He sent several voice messages to the BBC, provided that his personality was not disclosed.
In these messages, the officer painted a picture of the internal decay of Hamas and almost complete collapse of security throughout the gase, which the movement regulated before the conflict, according to the British agency.
He said: “Let’s be realistic, nothing is left of the security structure, most of the leaders, about 95%, have now died, all the actors were killed,” he said, “so what really prevents Israel from continuing this war?”
He continued: “Logically, he must continue to the end, all conditions will not be equipped, Israel has the upper hand, the world is silent, the Arab regimes are silent, the criminal gangs are everywhere, and society is collapsing.”
In September last year, the Minister of Defense of Israel announced that “Hamas as a military formation no longer exists” and that he was fighting a partisan war.
According to the officer, “Hamas tried to reorganize his ranks during the 57th day of the fire with Israel in the beginning of this year, since he reorganized his political, military and safe advice.”
“But since Israel ended the truce in March, the remaining leadership structures have been aimed at Hamas, which led to the dispersion of the movement,” he said.
“As for the security situation, it completely collapsed, and did not control anywhere,” he added, referring to “the widespread plunder of the Hamas complex (which was used to control gas) without any interference.”
He said: “They plundered everything, offices, to the pills with zinc, and no one intervened in the police or safety.”
The officer said that one of the consequences of the void of security is the spread of gangs or armed clans everywhere in the strip.
He continued: “On June 26, at least 18 people were killed when the Israeli air strike was aimed at the March aircraft of the Hamas police unit in Deir -Bala in the center of the Gaza sector.”
The Israeli army announced that it was amazing the “several armed terrorists” belonging to the internal security forces of Hamas.
In the light of this vacuum, “six armed groups belonging to local clans became a serious competitor to fill this void,” according to the officer.
He indicated that “these groups have access to money, weapons and people, and they are active throughout the gas, but most of them are in the south.”
He continued: “One of them is headed by Yasir Abu Shabab, a figure that attracted the attention of the Palestinian authorities, which is based on the western bank, and this is a competition for Hamas, in addition to active regional parties, especially after Israel confirmed last month that he provides him with weapons.”
The officer emphasized that “Hamas controlled a large reward for those who provide information that leads to the arrest of Abu Shabab, fearing that he will become a single figure for her many enemies.”
