Trump has promised to limit his support to Ukraine during the presidential campaign which pits it against the Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris. Biden’s authorization will allow the Ukrainians to use the long-range missiles, known as Army Tactical Missile Systems (ATACMS). It comes in response to Russia’s surprising decision to use North Korean troops in the war against Ukraine.
