US President Joe Biden has authorized long-range strikes against Russia. This was stated by the US Undersecretary of State for Western Hemisphere Affairs, Brian Nichols, in an interview with the Brazilian newspaper O Globo.
He noted that this decision will give Ukraine “more opportunities to defend itself” and, as is believed in Washington, will push Russia to enter into negotiations. According to the American diplomat, the duration of the conflict in Ukraine depends solely on Russia.
