Biden discussed the Russia-Ukraine war with Xi Jinping

US President Joe Biden and Chinese President Xi Jinping met within the framework of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit held in Peru to evaluate relations between both countries.

Oku.Az reports that the BBC reported on this.

This is reportedly the leaders’ third and final in-person meeting during Biden’s presidency. The negotiations lasted almost two hours.

Both leaders took advantage of the meeting to review relations between both countries in various areas.

One of the topics of the meeting held in Peru between both leaders was Russia’s war against Ukraine. Biden expressed concern that China continues to support the Russian defense industry. In his response, Xi Jinping recalled that Beijing is in favor of a peaceful solution to the conflict between Russia and Ukraine and acts as a leader of “shuttle diplomacy.”

China’s leader said Beijing is ready to work with the new administration of Donald Trump, who will soon replace Biden, even though the president-elect has already declared a new trade war with China and is clearly taking a “hard line” .
