US President Joe Biden warned that Ukraine and its partners face an extremely difficult winter. He called on allies to continue supporting Ukraine, while ensuring that the United States remains on the side of official kyiv.
This is demonstrated by Biden’s statement in Berlin.
Biden believes NATO allies must “provide support… until Ukraine achieves a just and sustainable peace.” The American president made this statement on Friday, October 18, during his farewell visit to Germany. He also strongly condemned Russian dictator Vladimir Putin for his “brutal attack on Ukraine.” According to the American president, NATO remains strong and more united than ever.
“We are facing a very difficult winter. We cannot give up,” Biden added.
Let us remember that presidential elections will be held in the United States in November. And now this is his last visit to Berlin as an American leader. Biden was due to arrive in Germany last week for his first three-day visit in 40 years. He is also expected to chair a meeting of the Contact Group on the Defense of Ukraine in the Ramstein format at an air base in Germany. The trip was canceled due to a powerful hurricane in the United States.
Previously, Cursor reported that Biden responded to Yahya Sinwar’s liquidation. Biden noted that Sinwar, as leader of Hamas, was responsible for the deaths of thousands of people, including Israelis, Palestinian Arabs, Americans and citizens of other countries. He stressed that it was Sinwar who was the organizer of the massacres, kidnappings and other brutal acts committed on October 7.
