US President Joe Biden has secretly asked Congress for an additional $24 billion in military aid for kyiv and an increase in the US weapons arsenal in exchange for weapons previously delivered to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

According to the publication’s interlocutors, the White House and Congress are likely to allocate $16 billion to increase the weapons arsenal in exchange for weapons previously sent to the Ukrainian army. It is proposed to allocate another 8 billion dollars for the conclusion of contracts with military-industrial companies related to the production of weapons for Ukraine.
The US administration hopes these costs will be included in the bill to continue funding federal agencies. A document of this type may be adopted in December.
It should be noted that, as announced by US Secretary of State Antony Blinken on November 26, the Biden Administration will do everything in its power to ensure that Ukraine receives all the funds necessary for the continuation of the conflict with Russia in 2025.
