Bill Clinton praised Joe Biden’s policy on the Gaza war

Former US President Bill Clinton delivered a speech on the third night of the Democratic National Convention. He began his speech by praising Joe Biden’s performance as president.

“I want to say a few words about President Biden,” Clinton said at the start of her speech in Chicago. “Remember that his path to the presidency was improbable and happened during a pandemic and an economic crisis. He nursed our sick and got us back to work. He strengthened our alliances for peace and security, stood with Ukraine, and tried desperately to achieve a ceasefire in the Middle East.”

Biden joined the convention on Monday to deliver a speech in which he praised his accomplishments as president and gave credit to his vice president, Kamala Harris, after she led the Democratic field following Biden’s withdrawal from the race last month.

“Picking Kamala was the first decision I made when I became our nominee, and it was the best decision of my career,” Biden said. “Not only did we get to know each other better, we became close friends. She is strong, she has a lot of experience, and she has great integrity — great integrity. Her story represents the best American story.”

Democrats who spoke out during the week praised both Biden and Harris. Meanwhile, the new Harris-Walz duo is working to win over voters in the final months before the election.

Earlier today, Cursor wrote that Biden addressed Netanyahu with instructions during the conversation.
