American singer-songwriter and pianist, one of the six best-selling artists in the history of the country, Billy Joel, after six years of endless price changes and re-listings, has found a buyer for his property in Florida. The New York Post reports this.
Joel purchased the oceanfront property in Manalapan for $22.1 million in 2015. In 2022, the mansion’s asking price skyrocketed to a whopping $64.9 million, with the final price eventually being reduced to $49.9 million.
The three-story mansion, covering more than 1.2 thousand square meters, with nine bedrooms, 11 bathrooms and a guest house, welcomes guests through a terrace with a fountain. Features of the mansion include a massive fireplace in the master bathroom, balconies with ocean views, a pub with a marble bar, a private movie theater and a temperature-controlled wine cellar. There is also a climate-controlled garage with space for more than 12 cars.
Behind the mansion are covered patios and a luxurious pool deck. Behind the pool is a grassy courtyard with a gate that opens directly onto the beach.
The deal has not yet been fully closed, so the sale price of the luxury home remains a secret for now.
