The company agreed, during the meeting held this Tuesday with union representatives, to develop a reindustrialization plan for its Valladolid factory. This was stated to this newspaper by the delegate of the UGT union to the committee, Antonio Álvarez, at the end of the aforementioned meeting, convened in a hotel in the center of Valladolid to negotiate a solution that would allow jobs to be maintained in the factory in the capital of Pisuerga. .

The worker representatives, however, recalled that the convening of each session is subject to the evolution of the negotiations.
A few hours before the meeting between the Works Council and the food company, the Minister of Industry, Commerce and Employment, Leticia García, had already announced that those responsible for the Board of Directors and the Foundation Anclaje would hold a meeting “these days” with the multinational.
