BJB Bank IT technician was arrested, allegedly stole 2.1 billion rubles.

Bandung – IT -Bank BJB Soreang Frank with the initials of AVM was arrested by the Bandung police on charges theft 2.1 billion of the triggers from the large monetary space of the bank where it worked. The theft report was received by the police on July 1, 2025.

The head of the Bandung Police Criminal Investigation Department, Commissioner Lutfi Olot Gybantar, after receiving the report, officers immediately investigated and processed the crime scene (TKP).

“After we received the report, we conducted a series of investigations, including the crime scene,” Lutfi said when he met in Soareang, Sunday (07/13/2025).

He explained that the success of the disclosure of the case was inseparable from intensive coordination with the internal bank.

“BJB Bank gave us a number of information and documents. From there, we finally managed to determine the criminals, ”he said.

Lutfi said that AVM, as you know, worked as IT technology in the Soreang BJB bank and had access to large places for storing funds. This access, stated, is used by criminals to perform action.

“These initials of the AVM criminal is an employee of the bank who has access to a number of rooms, including large rooms with cash,” said Lutfi.
