BlaBlaCar Ha management costs removed on all trips from or to the Valencian Community from this Monday until November 17, taking into account the exceptional mobility situation that we are experiencing and which is expected to continue in the coming days in the region after the passage of DANA.
To optimize the trips to be made and with the aim that all people who must travel can do so, the company asks drivers traveling with empty seats to display them on the platformas announced in a press release.
Anyway, taking into account that the extraordinary measures announced by the Integrated Operational Coordination Center (Cecopi) have been extended until Wednesday, the company requests caution and attention to official traffic sources before planning a trip.
“In the coming days, mobility in the Valencian Community will be complicated and not everyone has access to their own vehicle to travel. This is why we want contribute our grain of sand by eliminating management costs and ask drivers who travel within the Valencian Community, or whose origin or destination is there, to publish their empty seats”, said the international director of communication and institutional relations of BlaBlaCar, Itziar García .
The Valencian Community is and has always been the third with the most BlaBlaCar users after Andalusia and the Community of Madrid, since, of the more than eight million users that the platform has in Spain, almost one million are users from Alicante, Valencia or Castellón. .
