Two weeks after being accused by ‘The Economist’ of remaining in power “to the detriment of the quality of Spanish democracy”, it is now the ‘Bloomberg’ portal, an international reference in economic and political information, which carries complaint against Pedro Sánchez.

This media reports that the president of the Spanish government “faces the the biggest corruption scandal of his six years” in Moncloa, “causing doubts about how long he can stay in power“. ‘Bloomberg’ states that “the accusations of corruption in Sánchez’s immediate entourage have put him on the ropes” and echoes the Popular Party’s complaint against the PSOE.

This media talks about the OCU investigation, the Koldo affair, Ábalos’ involvement as Minister of Transport, and Jésica (who was paid for a luxury apartment in central Madrid and who accompanied the former minister on official trips), etc. He also explains that it comes in its entirety Begoña affair“was investigated for possible influence peddling in his dealings with two universities.”

The media do not forget Sánchez’s five days of “reflection” last April, when he hinted at a possible resignation that never came, nor the fact that the socialist came to power in 2018 thanks to a motion of censure with which he had promised to “eliminate corruption” from Spanish politics and found himself as “number one” in the Koldo affair.

All this is happening at the most critical moment of his stay in Moncloa, less than two weeks after the British newspaper The Economist described Sánchez as a “ruthless strategist” who “governs at the whim of radical Catalan and Basque nationalists”, and he also criticized the case of his wife and the placement of similar profiles in positions “so-called independent” of state institutions.
