Gabriel Portoleto became new Sauber driver for next year. The protégé of Fernando Alonso and leader of Formula 2 makes the jump to high-level competition and remembers the Spaniard, with whom he maintains excellent relationships, both personal and professional.
In ‘Motorsport’ he recounts the jokes he has had with Fernando since the rumors of his signing for Sauber arrived: “We always joke about it, to be honest, because Before I was born he started racing in Formula 1, and now I’m getting there.”
