This marked the first Israeli attack in Beirut from the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Lebanon on November 27, 2024.
The military of the Israeli Apartheid regime claimed to attack “an infrastructure location around the southern Beirut used to store non -handling aircraft operated by Hizbullah Air Units.”
At the beginning of Friday, the Israeli military issued an evacuation order to residents of the area.
Israeli colonized military spokesperson Avichay Adraee ordered residents in a particular building marked in red on the released map, along with the surrounding buildings, to “immediately evacuate and maintain a distance of at least 300 meters.”
“The building warned of the Israeli military to be evacuated in preparation for the bombing is bounded by two schools with a large number of students,” said Anadolu correspondent.
The Ministry of Education and Education Lebanesa has asked the educational institutions in the area to “immediately evacuate”.
“Given Israel’s threat to the outskirts of southern Beirut and the Hadath area, we have decided to suspend activities in all public and private schools, institutes and professional institutions in this region, including the Hariri Ricic University complex in Hadath,” the ministry said.
Meanwhile, the Lebanese National News Agency (NNA) reported a serious shot on the outskirts of southern Beirut, although it did not mention the firing source.
The shot was released as a warning to residents after Israel’s last threat.
