But skepticism is appropriate. The EU and Türkiye concluded a similar deal in 2016: the EU agreed to accept Syrian refugees from Turkey if Türkiye in exchange with other refugees from the EU. In fact, this was unlikely to be implemented. The deal primarily turned Turkey into a bouncer in Europe, which the Syriah held from Europe as a whole. Since then, the EU has been trying to force its neighbors in North Africa to a similar role in order to keep the Africans in the distance.
And now France is becoming a bouncer in the UK. According to previous experience, this can only work if France, in turn, strengthens illegal immigrants that were previously transferred to England to the EU. Germany manages the same game with Poland; It was normal for a long time in the Balkans. This is how Europe becomes a chemical without internal boundaries. Maybe there is no other way. But then you must honestly cope and admit: the ideals of the EU, that is, freedom of movement and open boundaries, apply only to EU citizens, and not to others. Good new Europe.
