British PM responds to Putin’s threats: ‘He has the right to self-defense’

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has responded to Vladimir Putin’s threats regarding the possible use of Western missiles on Russian territory. This response came after reports appeared in the British press that London had given Kiev permission to use Storm Shadow cruise missiles to strike deep into Russian territory, and the range of these missiles allows them to strike even Moscow. In particular, these publications appeared in the American newspapers The Guardian, The Times and the New York Times.

“BILD” writes about this.

In response to these reports, Vladimir Putin said that the use of Western long-range missiles against Russia would be considered direct involvement of NATO countries in the war in Ukraine. He stressed that this would radically change the nature of the conflict and would mean that the United States and European countries are already at war with Russia.

In turn, Keir Starmer recalled that this conflict was started by Russia when it illegally invaded Ukraine. He stated that Russia can end this conflict at any time and that Ukraine, in turn, has every right to self-defense. The United Kingdom, according to Starmer, fully supports this right, including by providing Ukraine with training opportunities and military assistance. However, he also stressed that Britain has no intention of entering into conflict with Russia.

Earlier, Kursor reported that Putin was threatening the United States and Britain with war.

Kremlin dictator Putin has issued an ultimatum to the United States and the United Kingdom.
