The Bryansk Regional Court sentenced two young men who set fire to broadcasting cabinets on a railway section. This was reported by the joint press service of the courts of general jurisdiction of the region.

“For all of the crimes, the author was sentenced to 15 years in prison, the first three years will be served in prison and the rest in a maximum security colony. The juvenile defendant was found guilty <> and sentenced to six years in a juvenile correctional facility.” – says the message.

According to case documents, a 22-year-old man was instructed by an unidentified person to set fire to a relay cabinet on a railway section and recruited a resident of the Bryansk region, born in 2007, to commit the crime. In February of this year, an adult saboteur set fire to a broadcasting cabinet in the Volodarsky district of Bryansk, and his minor accomplice filmed what was happening on his phone. As a result of sabotage, there was a threat to the movement of trains and damage was caused to JSC Russian Railways in the amount of more than 99 thousand rubles.

The adult defendant was convicted under paragraph “a” of Part 2 of Art. 281 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (sabotage by a group of persons through prior conspiracy), part 4 of art. 150 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (involving a minor in the commission of a crime), part 1 of art. 30, paragraph “a”, part 2, art. 281 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (attempt to sabotage by a group of persons through prior conspiracy). The accused minor was convicted under paragraph “a” of Part 2 of Art. 281 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (sabotage by a group of persons through prior conspiracy).
