Organized by Chile 2100 Foundation and under the auspices of Arauco, Inacap and AclaraThe meeting brought together more than 100,000 people on its first day. 2,500 peoplemainly high school students, who participated in an enriching scientific dialogue.
The event brought together more than 100 delegations ofand educational institutions across the country, which were able to benefit from exhibitions on astronomy, applied mathematics, cosmology, biodiversity and astrophysicsas well as topics related to gender, diversity and inclusion.
In this context, prominent speakers captured the attention of the audience with lectures that not only imparted knowledge but also inspired new generations to enter the world of science and technology. One of them, Paulina AssmannCEO of SeQure Quantum and expert of the Quantum Technologies Advisory Commission, who motivated the participants with her presentation on the relevance of quantum physics in technological innovation and digital security.
In this context, Assmann stressed the need to bring science closer to the new generations, noting that “the promotion of science, and in particular quantum physics, is essential to promote innovation and technological progress, especially in a country like Chile, where science is highlighted as a priority. an important pillar. Seeing the interest of so many young people here in Science Without Fiction reinforces the importance of these meetings. We have a responsibility to inspire them and show them that science is not reserved for a few, but for a path accessible to allcapable of changing our world,” he said.
In addition to the presentations, the event featured interactive booths from various organizations, where attendees were able to explore different areas of knowledge in a practical and fun way.

In 2022, she was recognized among the 100 Women Leaders by El Mercurio and recently received the recognition of “Outstanding Woman in Technology Entrepreneurship” in the Women Protagonists of Technological Innovation Awards of the National Institute of Industrial Property (INAPI) in collaboration with the Network of Technology Managers of Chile.
