“I am glad that the result is so clear,” says the new and old state chairman Wolf. She was facilitated: “It was not predictable.” Since the BSW in Thuringia joined the government coalition with the CDS and SPD, Wagennnecht criticizes that the BSW position in the federal government is weak. Katya Wolf, who is also the president of the Minister of Thuringia and the Minister of Finance, was especially criticized. Now the conflict lines in the young alliance again appeared at the conference of the State Party in Hera, even if the Federal Council is trying to make a harmonious history.
Wagennncht himself was not in place at the State Party Conference in Thuringia. General Secretary Christian Lei represented the Federal Council. His speech in the morning, a few hours before the first choice, he began jokingly: in any other state, he was as often as in Thuringia last year, “but, fortunately, it is very pleasant here.”
Nevertheless, there are voters: inside it would have lost confidence in the party thanks to the participation of the government in Thuringia. They must restore it, “and that is why the leadership spoke out in favor of the separation of the government and the party,” Lei said. So: Minister Wolf should no longer maintain the State Association. Vice -Minister Robert Krammbach already wants to transfer his chairman of the state of BSV in Brandenburg.
Criticism of the Federal Executive Council BSW
In this context, Lei said that he wants to raise the legend that irritated him. “There is no power struggle in the party,” he emphasized. On the contrary, Lei, thanks to the former advice, “which votes today.”
Soon after, Steffen Schyuts spoke. Until now, he has been the co -chair of the regional association along with Volk and initially wanted to compete with her again this Saturday. On Thursday, he surprisingly announced that he had returned the candidacy. Sahra Wagenkencht previously publicly supported candidates against the wolf and Shyuts. Together with a member of the state parliament, Anke Virsing, a rather unknown member of Matias Bikel ran for the chairman.
Schyutz is also a minister in the government of Türingan since last year. This is hard work and is associated with a small private life, he explained to the party congress. “Nevertheless, a small private life does not mean that you do not have enough time for the party,” he emphasized on the stage.
A little later, Shyutz attacked the Federal Council in his speech: “It’s nice if we fight the restriction of the“ Opinion ”project for the current -show.” However, if the Federal Executive Council, “then it counteracts our requirement,” says Shutz. Of some of the approximately 100 BSW members in Gera were applause for his criticism, but the member accused him of dividing in the interval.
Before the elections, individual members in short performances spoke either for wirsing or for a wolf. In short, after 3 o’clock in the afternoon. The result was there: Victory for the Wolf. Then, together with Matias Bikel, the supporters retreated: on the inside of the passage of their candidates. The champion in Weimar Gernot Susmut was elected co -chair next to Wolf. The mood in the hall relaxed.
Christian Lei appeared later. The Federal Executive Council wanted a different result, he said. “We would calculate more smartly to separate public administration and party administration.” Now the new board should deliver. But Lei is sure: “We will still work well with each other.” In the end, only the media would bring a struggle for power.
When he was asked about the pelvis, Katja Wolf did not want to contradict this. Smiling, she replied: “I am glad that we will definitely find a communicative level in the future, we will not be able to interpret the media in the struggle for power.”
Wolf’s victory has a calming effect for the Turing government. The CDU boss and prime minister Mario Foygt, as well as the leader of SPD and the Minister of the Interior George Mayer congratulated during the day. On the other hand, Wolf never heard about the leader of the Sahra Wagenknecht party, until he was going to press.
