Enrique Bunbury, who announced his retirement from the stage in February 2022, only to change his mind a year later, announced this Wednesday a tour of Spain with the musicians of his former group Huracán Ambulante on September 13, 18 and 20. Additionally, the musician announced a new album, recorded with various Latin American musicians, in spring 2025.
The performances will take place on September 13 at the WiZink Center in Madrid, September 18 at the Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona and September 20 at the Príncipe Felipe in Zaragoza.
Tickets for the three concerts will go on sale next Friday October 11 at 10:00 a.m. on Ticketmaster.
For these concerts, the singer from Zaragoza will bring together his group El Huracán Ambulante, which accompanied him 20 years ago during his first solo scene: “comrades of fatigue”, he called them in the note that accompanies the press release.
These musicians recorded with Enrique Bunbury, between 1997 and until the summer of 2005, four studio albums and three live albums, as well as numerous concerts in Europe, Latin America, the United States and Japan.
The musicians of the “huracán” are Rafa Domínguez (guitar), Del Morán (bass), Copi Corellano (keyboards), Ramón Gacías (drums), Ana Belén Estaje (violin), Luis Miguel Romero (percussion), Javier Íñigo (trumpet) . ) and Javier García-Vega (trombone and Spanish guitar).
Bunbury’s new album will be recorded with various Latin American musicians and the Huracán Ambulante musicians will play the new songs live, on these three dates in Spain and in total in nine countries.
Additionally, after the deluxe reissues of Little And Flamingosa new 20th anniversary edition of The Journey to Nowhere will be released on November 29.
