Burning cars and forests: 5 dead, 161 injured – terrible fire in Portugal

As a result of large-scale forest fires in Portugal, 5 people died and 161 were injured.

The fire covered 10,000 hectares between the cities of Porto and Aveiro, in the north of the country.

Due to the fires, many roads in the country, especially the main highway between Lisbon and Porto, were closed and dozens of houses were burned.

Mourning was declared in the country on September 20.
