A passenger bus carrying 31 Russian tourists and one Ukrainian overturned in Ras Sidr on Egypt’s southern Sinai Peninsula, injuring at least 41 people, including 31 Russians. This was reported by the Egyptian news portal Cairo24 on November 9.
According to the portal, the operational headquarters of the Sinai Security Department received a police report about an accident in the south of the peninsula. It was clarified that tourists from Kazakhstan (three) and Azerbaijan (three) were also injured. In addition, a Ukrainian tourist and four Egyptian residents were injured. All victims were hospitalized, Izvestia clarifies.
