The businesswoman Carmen Pano Sanchez claims to have delivered 90,000 euros to the PSOE headquarters, on Ferraz Street in Madrid, on the orders of the Victor de Aldama.
As EL ESPAÑOL learned and Carmen Pano herself confirmed to this newspaper, it was she who hid her identity in the interview carried out by The objective and who then ratified his testimony before a notary.
“I took the money to the second floor. I declared it before a notary and I will declare it before the judge when he summons me,” assures Carmen Pano to EL ESPAÑOL.
The 90,000 euros were deposited at the PSOE headquarters in “October 2020”. There were “two payments” and he carried the money in “a plastic bag placed in another paper bag from a department store.”
Carmen Pano does not know the final destination of the money she brought to Ferraz, since according to her version, “it was Víctor de Aldama” who told her to take it and she does not know who collected the bags at the PSOE headquarters.
According to his version, he entered the PSOE headquarters and declared that he was “in the name of Víctor de Aldama”. They didn’t ask him for any identification, he went up to the second floor and a man was waiting for him who asked him if it was in the businessman’s name. She nodded and handed him the bags.
Pano assures that his presence on this floor lasted only “a few seconds” and that barely “five minutes” passed between his entry and his exit from the PSOE headquarters.
“If a judge calls me to testify, I will tell the truth,” Pano told EL ESPAÑOL. The businesswoman assures that she will ratify before the National Court what she has already expressed before a notary in a sworn declaration.
Aldama could not transport the money and his driver was also not operational. Jose Albeirowho was the one in charge of the Koldo Field to collect and then transport the tickets.
The money came, according to Pano, from the hydrocarbon company Villafuel. Carmen Pano was the person who served as liaison between Aldama and Claudio Rivasbusiness owner who wanted the operator license and introduced them during the pandemic.
Víctor de Aldama, in his first journalistic interview carried out this Wednesday in Cope, revealed that he had identified Carmen Pano: “I have no proof of bags of money in Ferraz. They say he is an associate, but he is not an associate. It’s a woman. “I know perfectly well who he is. We will provide evidence to the prosecution. It has nothing to do with hydrocarbons or with Villafuel.”
Pano, for his part, explains to EL ESPAÑOL that Claudio Rivas, still in prison for allegedly defrauding the Treasury of 182 million with Aldama, “gave him the money to give to Víctor”.
The businesswoman claims to have “received threats” from Aldama and Rivas before their arrest on October 7.
The villa in La Línea de la Concepción (Cádiz) that you liked Jose Luis Abalos The company Have Got Time SL purchased it as a tenant in June 2021. This hydrocarbon marketing company was managed by Leonor Gonzálezdaughter of Carmen Pano.
Aldama told the National Court judge that they had known each other for 20 years and were “boyfriends in a relationship of two or three years.”
I also testify before the judge Ishmael Moreno that he did not carry out “any management for Villafuel”. Have Got Time SL began operating in 2021, months after meeting Juan Ignacio Díaz Bidartchief of staff of the Minister of Industry Reyes Marotoon December 28, 2020.
Villafuel finally obtained the hydrocarbon operator license in September 2022. A year earlier, its application was rejected. Subsequently, Ábalos left the chalet in La Línea de Concepción when he could not pay the rent of 2,500 euros per month.
Pano Companies
Carmen Pano is a businesswoman who has worked for decades in the banking industry. It currently appears linked to ten companies, although none of them are under investigation even at the Koldo affair nor in the fuel plot.
Sources in the case of this plot confirm to EL ESPAÑOL that Have Got Time SL, the company managed by Leonor González, is not on the list of companies linked to Aldama and Rivas from which the VAT fraud was committed in the hydrocarbon sector.
Pano, like Aldama, has companies domiciled in Elvás (Portugal), although without activity. These companies share their headquarters in the same building in this small Portuguese town.
Several of Carmen Pano’s companies granted loans to those of Aldama. These were Promalter Marker (60,000 euros), Nerium Logística (14,520 euros), Kichwa Investments (60,000 euros). There is also a payment from Ornus Import to Zamora CF, a football team owned by a commission agent of the Koldo affair.
The sectors of Pano’s companies are varied: hydrocarbons, commerce, real estate investments, consulting…
Pano carried out work for Villafuel, the hydrocarbons company of Claudio Rivas. It was she who introduced him to Aldama, because according to her story to EL ESPAÑOL, “Víctor needed an investment partner for restaurants”.
