CaixaBank and CEV renew and intensify their alliance to support companies in the Valencian Community

The territorial director of CaixaBank in the Valencian Community and the Region of Murcia, Olga Garciaand the president of the CEV, Salvador Navarrohave renewed the collaboration agreement that both entities maintain to support companies and self-employed people in the autonomous community. The agreement will allow the implementation of a plan to promote the promotion and implementation of joint actions in strategic and priority areas of socio-economic development in the Valencian Community, with special emphasis on sustainable business projects within the framework of European regulations.

When signing the agreement, the territorial director of CaixaBank indicated that “we want to continue to be very close to the companies of the Valencian Community, accompanying and supporting them in their growth and development, financing their projects and promoting innovation and the transition to a more sustainable economy”. “Companies contribute to the creation of wealth, jobs and, therefore, to the well-being of all, which is why our commitment to them is firm because they are essential to the development and evolution of our societies”, stressed García.

CaixaBank financed companies in the Valencian Community for a total of 2,052 million euros during the first half of 2024, representing a growth of 24% compared to the same period of the previous year. This figure corresponds to a total of 8,292 operations, 11% more than in the first six months of last year.

The financial institution has 27 offices and specialized centers in the Valencian Community to exclusively meet the needs of companies. A large team of professionals expert in global business management works in these spaces, offering a unique and differentiated value proposition.

For his part, the CEV president thanked the work of CaixaBankhis commitment to Valencian companies, and appreciated this agreement with which it will be possible to boost the competitiveness of the productive fabric of the Valencian Community. “The collaboration between the CEV and CaixaBank reinforces our joint commitment to the sustainable development of companies, which will undoubtedly translate into benefits for the economy and society of the Valencian Community. Agreements like this demonstrate that the companies of our community have in CaixaBank a trusted strategic ally to continue growing and generating jobs and navigating in a changing and challenging economic environment”, assured Navarro.

The agreement between the CEV and CaixaBank demonstrates, once again, the commitment of both entities to the Valencian economic fabric and the development of the Valencian Community, in addition to offering environmental, social and governance advice to channel sustainable financing.

To meet this objective, the agreement prioritizes the support of the CEV in the intense work it carries out to inform, promote and compile business projects in the three provinces likely to receive sustainable financing.

With this agreement, CaixaBank renews and intensifies its support and commitment to the economic fabric of the Community. In addition, the financial institution collaborates with initiatives that promote innovation, entrepreneurship and business competitiveness.

Financing lines for businesses

The two entities will also promote the existing collaboration agreement between CaixaBank and the Spanish Confederation of Professional Organizations. (CEO)which makes it possible to make available a very important line of financing to companies affiliated to the employers’ union and their professional organizations. The aim of the agreement is to support the Spanish business world to improve its productivity and contribute to the development of innovation projects, stimulate internationalization and promote entrepreneurship.

On the other hand, they will continue to activate the collaboration between CaixaBank Dualiza and the CEV to promote vocational training and its dual modality with the aim of improving the employability of workers.
