CaixaBank activated an extraordinary financing line amounting to more than 2,500 million euros for companies in the Valencian Community affected by DANA. An amount that the financial entity will use to repair the damage caused by the storm and guarantee the continuity of commercial activity in the region.
“These initiatives aim to provide the necessary financial support to businesses and businesses that, in one way or another, have been affected by the effects of DANA, and thus ensuring commercial activity essential to the economic recovery of the entire territory“, underlines CaixaBank in a press release.
This measure It joins another already launched via MicroBank.the social bank of CaixaBank, to support the self-employed and small businesses with a turnover of up to 2 million and less than ten employees. Concretely, this is an extraordinary financing line to guarantee business continuity with a maximum amount of 50,000 euros to be paid in 72 months.
On the other hand, CaixaBank also reminds that, to avoid travel, it will allow Commission-free cash withdrawal for customers with cards of other banks in the 785 CaixaBank ATMs in the province of Valencia over the next 7 days.
All these initiatives reinforce the plan of measures announced last Wednesday by CaixaBank for those affected in the Valencian Community, Castile-La Mancha and Andalusia, as financing line with preferential conditions that it has made available to its private clients.
Other initiatives
This line aims to help victims repair the damage caused by flooding in their homes and/or vehicles until help arrives from the Insurance Compensation Consortium.
In this sense, SegurCaixa Adeslas has activated an exclusive telephone line (900 103 500) to speed up contact with the insurer and, in the case of policyholders who need it, to facilitate the management of consortium claims. Concretely, for the management of car insurance, the service has been strengthened to provide the necessary assistance through the telephone number 900 301 900, operational 24 hours a day.
In addition, AgroBank has enabled a line of more than 300 million euros intended for the agri-food sector be able to help in cases where farms and crops have been damaged and, also, anticipate aid and compensation to rehabilitate the damage caused by heavy rains and the storm.
For his part, Volunteering CaixaBank It is mobilized in different regions of Spain to help and ensure coverage in the municipalities most affected by DANA in order to collaborate on priority needs.
The entity also allowed a free platform for collecting donations already in progress in favor of the Spanish Red Cross and the Caritas Diocesanas of Valencia.
