There is no sign prohibiting stopping and staying on the road, but car owners are fined for this.
Residents living at 4B M. Mushvig Street in the capital’s Sabail district say this is true.
According to neighbors, they have been parking their cars on the street near the building for several years. Over the past few months, they have been ticketed for violating the stop-and-detain rule.
Residents said they had repeatedly petitioned the Baku City State Traffic Police Department. They even made an offer.
Regarding the problem faced by residents, the Baku City State Traffic Police Department reported that parking cars was prohibited due to traffic jams in that area during peak hours of the day.
The road has recently been repaired and in the coming days all the necessary road signs will be installed while the lines and markings are redrawn.
