Canadian NASAMS air defense systems are now at the disposal of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The Richmond News Agency reported this on November 22, citing Canadian Minister of National Defense Bill Blair.
“The Minister of Defense announced that the air defense system that Canada bought two years ago has arrived in Ukraine.” – says the agency’s material.
Blair also noted that the Canadian government understands the need to increase spending on defense and assistance to Ukraine, but this requires guarantees of a “good return” on investments.
