The special program of ‘La Noche en Blanco’ Malaga TV channel won the Andalusian Prize for Local Audiovisual Communication, an award with which the Government of Andalusia recognized the technical commitment developed by the program and its integration into the cultural event itself.
As Canal Málaga detailed this Wednesday in a press release, the Commission distinguished them as best entertainment program of local television as part of the 11th Andalusia Awards for Local Audiovisual Communication.
As this media reports, the jury appreciated “the great technical and human commitment of the channel, which contributes not only to visualizing culture, but also to integrate plastically in celebrating the event. As he added, in fact, the live broadcast was part of the programming itself, so that it linked television production to the cultural industry during the White Night.

The special program took place last time May 18 live and in the middle of Larios Street, lasting two hours and twenty minutes. The space featured interviews, live connections with some of the activities carried out in the city and musical and magical shows, the theme on which the 15th edition of Nuit Blanche revolved.
In addition, Canal Málaga also became one of 150 activities who make up this initiative offering citizens the opportunity to become journalists and produce their own column on the Nuit Blanche.
Given the complexity of television engagement, virtually all model of Canal Málaga participated in the development of this special program, which also brought together a large audience who were able to see how a live television program takes place. As they indicated, Radio Canal Málaga also developed a live broadcast that evening from the same street.
These winners are 7TV CordobaRadio Gelves Ahora, Radio Alfaguara, G&M Diversión and Multimedia Jiennense. The Andalusia Awards for Local Audiovisual Communication, organized by the General Directorate of Social Communication attached to the Ministry of the Presidency, Interior, Social Dialogue and Administrative Simplification of the Commission, will be awarded next Tuesday, November 12 at the Palace San Telmo.
Other awards
This is not the first time that Canal Málaga has been awarded by the jury of the Andalusia Communication Prizes awarded by the Presidency of the Junta de Andalucía. For example, in 2022 “The magic painting” won the “Best Entertainment Program Award”. This is a children’s program broadcast by this local television channel in Andalusia.
This award recognized the space for its determined commitment to the public of children and young people, in a framework “educational and fun» through play, magic and music, without renouncing culture, history and science.
